man, you're really good with text. Several years ago I thought I could duplicate handwriting somewhat well, but you have these typed words very... typed-looking. I'm not sure I could do that. I might could do that middle book's title with a ruler, but the bottom book has those exactly rounded lowercase letters which must be difficult. As well as the different thicknesses of the different fonts. Now, I'm thinking along the lines of just a grayscale pencil drawing, but with paint, I've never really figured out how to paint correctly and I very much doubt I could do believable text at all with paint, even in my own handwriting. (I don't even know how you can blend colors the way you do. This is the type of perfect coloring that I'd thought could be pulled off with paint, but which I had quickly realized I could not do the first time I'd tried using acrylics.)
It may not seem perfect to you but to many other people the whole painting has so much detail and skill in it it's hard to believe a person painted that. I don't think words can actually describe what you do here so I won't say it's amazing or wonderful... it just... is
AFter viewing your gallery, I am dumbfounded by the photorealism in each of your paintings. It is unreal. Have you had a gallery exhibition anywhere? Your talent is astounding, so much so that I keep hearing the phrase, 'is it live or is it Memorex?' ( from an ad that may predate you). Not to be cynical, but if your pictures contained some flaws within the composition, they may be more compelling.
Your painting is just breathtaking. I really love the details in this painting, from the folding pages of the book to the elephant piece and the light bulb with the reflections. I like how the object set up it really make this still life more interesting with the contrast of different size of the objects and how the objects are angle in different sides along with how the reflections shows what on the other side of the room.
All in all you did an awestruck amazing job on your painting, keep up the beautiful work.
